Welcome to my website. I am Michael Holden. Here you will find a portfolio of my work, mostly in the field of writing novels.
In “My Bio” I have information about my background and the reasons why I spend too much lonely time sitting in a room scribbling on paper, typing on a computer and belabouring my patient wife with the editing of same. Somewhere in here are the reasons why I choose to engage in this activity. (*** HINT! Any words of praise may send me back into ‘writing mode’ for a month of Mondays.)
In the section “Books and Other Works”, you will find links to the variety of results. Some of these links will take you to Amazon, where I sell novels, particularly historical novels about sixteenth and seventeenth century England and Spain. These are the books of the “Seven Ages” series. Don’t worry, if you don’t like them. There are a few more novels and short stories of more modern times. Perhaps you will find them more to your liking. Some links will also take you to various shorter pieces, some of which have been previously published by those who found merit in them.
“Coming Soon” is my personal reminder list aimed at spurring me to publish more of these ‘creations’ and to complete different format editions of works already unleashed. Once they are able to totter into the world on their own, I will move them to the aforementioned section of completed pieces, some of which will become available, in various formats (e-book, print, and audio-book).
